3. Reality Is, the Redskins should utilize a fullback this week

It’s clear that the injuries have taken such a toll on the Redskins’ offensive line that they simply can’t provide Adrian Peterson with the consistent holes needed to allow him to dominate.

Despite this, A.P. proved he’s got plenty left in the tank on the final drive last week. The Redskins would be smart to utilize the I-formation, and let A.P. follow Matt Flanagan through holes for 5-6 yards at a time. Pairing that with some play action and zone reads out of the “pistol” formation might allow the Redskins to have more success on the ground and keep Johnson from having to carry the offense.
