No. 4 – Trent Williams

Trent Williams made his seventh straight Pro Bowl this season, and in Week 16, he’ll need to bring that quality of play if Washington is to win.

Williams has, once again, been a force to be reckoned with for opposing defensive linemen. His season started on an inconsistent note, when injuries kept him from staying on the field. But now, hardened by a grueling season, Williams has managed to start each week since Week 12, and as one of three season-opening starters left standing, he’s been one of the team’s most important players.

In Week 16, against the Titans, Williams can’t fall back into obscurity. The Titans’ run defense is a top twelve unit in the league based on all metrics, which means Washington will have to win by molding their offensive attack around Josh Johnson around the passing game. Johnson’s blindside protecter will be key in helping the offense run smoothly.

It’s a role Williams has performed to standard many times before. Now, in a game where the team’s playoff chances depend on it, nothing different should be expected of him.
