Score Prediction

In a game with two relatively monotonous teams, the outcome will come down to the stars. The players who rise above. The Giants have Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham Jr. Who do the Redskins have?

Sure, Adrian Peterson is a good story, but he’s not a player who can put a game on his shoulders in today’s league. Jordan Reed won’t change the game with Mark Sanchez as his quarterback. D.J. Swearinger might be the Redskins’ closest thing to a star, and even he has entered a rough patch over the past few weeks.

The Redskins beat the Giants earlier in the year because of one thing. Mistakes. The Giants made more of them, and Alex Smith made sure of that. Now that Washington has lost the antidote to its own terminal condition, there is nothing to keep them from losing.

Thus, the Giants’ star power, as limited as it may be, will carry New York over the Redskins, who lack that power entirely. The Redskins will have a losing record for the first time in 2018, and with any luck, they’ll keep moving up the draft order.
