No. 4 – Reality Is, Mason Foster and Zach Brown have shown off their weaknesses in recent weeks.

Zack Brown is an instinctual, freak athlete, but he’s not a particularly disciplined inside linebacker. As a result, he makes a lot of explosive plays, but about just as often, he misses an assignment or guesses wrong. He’s been exposed in recent weeks, filling the wrong gaps in the run game, and leaving Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and D.J. Swearinger exposed, especially on delayed and stretch run plays.

Mason Foster is a great team leader and is exceptionally disciplined in the run game, but he lacks the athleticism and instincts to cover slot receivers and running backs in the passing game.

Prediction: If these two don’t really step up their game, I expect the to start losing more and more playing time to Josh Harvey-Clemons and Shaun Dion Hamilton. In this game, I expect there to be some third-and-long situations where the two young backers with hyphenated last names to be on the field together.
