No. 5 – C Chase Roullier

The Eagles won the Super Bowl last season with dominant trench football on both sides of the line. That’s the formula the Redskins need to flip the script.

It’ll be far easier said than done, to harness the team’s strength on the line and best the Eagles with it. Philadelphia’s offensive line is still one of the league’s better units, and defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan will be back any week to help Fletcher Cox terrorize the interior.

With a defensive tackle duo like that on the horizon, Washington might be reluctant to believe in their patchwork starters at guard. That’s why Chase Roullier‘s play will hold much more importance this week.

Roullier is essentially the last line of defense for the Redskins’ starters. Morgan Moses has played, but he’s been banged up. Against Philadelphia’s interior, a healthy Roullier is the best chance the Redskins’ offense has at staying functional.
