No. 4 – Redskins must limit Amari Cooper

One person playing in this game that was not in the first one is Amari Cooper.

Dallas went out and traded a first-round pick to get this kind of elite talent on the outside, because he can routinely beat man coverage and can be a game-changer. Cooper is an outstanding route runner. Being a good route runner allows him to create the separation needed to create some nice windows for Prescott to throw to.

Josh Norman must keep close coverage and not give Prescott those easy completions. Cooper has had a couple solid games since coming to Dallas from Oakland. He did not have a good game against the Falcons on Sunday though, being limited to just three catches for 36 yards. The Cowboys offense will no doubt be looking for ways to get him more involved in this game.

The Redskins’ secondary must be ready this. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is starting to become familiar in Greg Manusky’s system. He showed why a trade was made for him last week, as he was all over the field with 13 tackles against Houston. He and D.J. Swearinger both can make game-changing plays and this is a game in which they will have to. Manusky must call another excellent game on the defensive side and take away Prescott’s new weapon.
