3.     Reality Is, Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham can beat you.

Yes, the Giants are 1-6. Yes, Eli Manning is not playing particularly well this season behind one of the worst offensive lines in football. But anyone who thinks the Giants aren’t dangerous offensively is not watching the games.

The Giants are a 63-yard Graham Gano field goal and a couple of bad decisions away from 3-4 and coming into this week on a two-game winning streak. For all his antics, Odell Beckham is still one of the most dangerous weapons in the league, and Saquon Barkley is an all-around running back on par with anyone in the league. If the Redskins get lulled to sleep on any play in this game, either of these guys could make a house call.

I am getting more and more confident in the Redskins’ ability to gameplan for superstar running backs. I expect Barkley to be added to the list of runners the Redskins effectively hold below their season averages.

However, I think the Giants will use Barkley heavily in the passing game as well. I am also more and more concerned about the ability of our secondary to handle quick and shifty receivers. I expect to see Beckham get free at least once in this game for a big play.

Prediction: Barkley will have 26 touches for 118 yards and 1 TD. Beckham will have 6 catches for 80 yards and 1 TD.
