Week 11 – Redskins vs. Texans

Before the season, I had the Texans besting the Redskins in Landover. After the Texans’ disappointing 1-3 start… I still have the Texans besting the Redskins in Landover.

The Texans have the makings of a sleeping giant in the NFL. The offense has plenty of weapons, and although the offensive line is one of the worst, Deshaun Watson has started to grow more comfortable in his second year; he’s coming off his best performance in Week 4.

On defense, talent isn’t in short supply for the Texans. They boast a defensive line stocked with the likes of J.J. Watt, D.J. Reader, Jadaveon Clowney, and Duke Ejiofor, with players like Bernardrick McKinney, Zach Cunningham, Tyrann Mathieu, and Justin Reid bolstering the back end.

Even when saddled by the coaching of Bill O’Brien, the Texans are still a dangerous team that could steal a game from the Redskins. They do that here, winning by a close margin in the nation’s capital.

Final Score: WAS 27, HOU 30

Record: 6-4
