Week 17 – Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins

The last game of the season and the most important one will come against the Super Bowl champions, the Eagles. At 9-6, the Redskins will be in a must-win situation. A 9-7 record will leave them just short.

The Eagles will have clinched and would normally sit their starters, but not in this case. The last thing Philadelphia wants to do is have an encounter with their division foe in the playoffs. With that being said, Wentz and the starters will take the field.

Washington won’t forget the beat down that they received in Week 13 in Philadelphia. The analysis  of Cousins vs. Smith will no longer be up for debate after this game. Smith will prove that it was the right move to let Cousins walk and make the trade for him.

No mercy will be shown. With this crowd the loudest it’s been the entire season and a playoff berth on the line, the Redskins won’t disappoint.

Smith will throw for over 300 passing yards, Guice will stomp the ground for over 100 rushing yards, and Reed will have two red zone touchdowns. The Eagles will take their starters out four minutes into the fourth quarter once they realize the game has already been won.

The Redskins win in convincing fashion, return the favor to the Eagles, and earn a playoff berth.

Final Score: WAS 42, PHI 21

Record: 10-6
