Week 11 – Houston Texans at Washington Redskins

This is one of the games I’m looking forward to the most. If Deshaun Watson plays at the level he was performing last season, then this will be a tough game for the Redskins. Mobile quarterbacks have always been one of the Redskins’ weaknesses.

That said, Houston has the easiest schedule in the NFL. They only have one tough matchup before they play the Redskins and that’s against a division foe, the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Redskins will be their first true test outside of the division.

Chris Thompson will be hard at work in the first half as the Redskins utilize the screen option early and often. This will allow Alex Smith to work the ball downfield in the second half, sealing the game.

I sense this game will be more defensive than anticipated, resulting in a lower score. Ryan Kerrigan, Jonathan Allen, and Daron Payne will contain Watson, forcing him to make some risky throws. Washington will get a timely score late in the fourth quarter and come up with a big stop on fourth and short against Houston.

Final Score: WAS 17, HOU 14

Record: 7-3
