ILB Zach Brown

Recently re-signed to a three-year contract, Zach Brown has finally found a permanant home roaming the middle of the field for the Redskins.

Arguably one of the most athletic linebackers in the NFL, Brown has the the physical tools and instincts needed to be an elite run defender, and it’s shown in the insane tackle numbers he puts up.

Brown still needs to spend time refining his pass coverage; he has the athletic ability to keep up with tight ends and running backs, but he has a bad tendency of turning around, and he loses sight of his man too often. If Brown can improve his coverage skills, he can implement himself as one of the league’s elite linebackers.

Brown has had great statistical success the past two years, and I expect nothing to change. He’ll be near the top of the league in tackles, and he’ll also contribute some sacks and maybe get his hand on a pass or two. I expect Brown to put up solid numbers once again and lead the team in tackles for the second straight season.
