S Montae Nicholson

A pleasant surprise last season, Montae Nicholson proved doubters wrong and repaid the Redskins for selecting him in the 4th round. An excellent athlete, Nicholson has the skill set of a classic free safety roaming the top of the field. He has sideline-to-sideline speed and can even deliver a strong hit when needed. He pairs well with Swearinger and they have great potential together.

If Nicholson can leave his injury history in his rookie season, we could see the development of a Pro Bowl safety. Jay Gruden has had high praise for him and I expect a big season from Nicholson. I won’t be surprised if at the end of the season, he ends up leading the team in interceptions.
