11. Week 8 at New York Giants

Again, the Giants are one of the weaker teams on the Redskins schedule and they are probably the worst in the NFC East. So, the Redskins have a legitimate chance of sweeping the season series against them.

The first Giants game of the season will be marginally more difficult than the matchup at home. The reasoning for this is simple. It’s a road game. And road games are always harder.

Aside from that, the Giants game is sandwiched between two contests that the Redskins will have to pay extra attention to. Thankfully, they are both at home, but the Cowboys and Falcons are two tougher opponents that will surround the Giants game. So, the Redskins could run the risk of looking past the Giants in their first Week 8 meeting.

Still, the Redskins are superior to the Giants. This will be one of the easier games on the schedule as a result, unless Pat Shurmur, another first year head coach, can get the Giants going to start the season.
