The obsession with Mr. Irrelevant is something that run rampant among NFL fan bases. Since the fascination surrounding the NFL Draft has increased steadily over the course of the past couple of decades, fans and analysts alike like to look for potential gems. And one of the most interesting players to look at year in and year out is Mr. Irrelevant.

Mr. Irrelevant, the name lovingly given to the final pick of the NFL Draft, isn’t always productive. In fact, they usually don’t make much of an impact at all. However, this player is the last of the player pool selected. So, that means the team picking that player deemed them to be the best of the hundreds of players that they could have had a sure-fire shot at. And that’s where the intrigue stems from.
