3. Kendall Fuller intercepts a pass and records a sack

Kendall Fuller has been the best corner on the Redskins this season. With Josh Norman taking a step back and Bashaud Breeland merely being solid, Fuller has emerged as one of the best slot men in the league. He really helped the early season surge of the defense and now he will have to be up to a big task on Sunday.

The Chargers use Keenan Allen all over the field, and the Redskins typically don’t have their top corners shadow top receivers. Thus, Allen will see action against all three of the team’s cornerbacks and will work on Fuller in the slot a lot.

Philip Rivers will probably try to target Fuller a bit early to see if the second-year man has what it takes to cover Allen. That could lead him to make a mistake. Fuller does seem to be due for a big play, so another interception is definitely possible for him. It’s something that the young corner deserves as well.

In addition to a pick, Fuller may notch a sack if Greg Manusky sends him off the slot on a blitz. No matter what, expect a big stat line from Fuller on Sunday. Right now, ours has him getting a pick and a sack and it would be great to see the Pro Bowl level player succeed.
