Score Prediction

Redskins games have been hard to predict this season. In the last three games alone, they were predicted to lose to the Seahawks but won. Then, they were considered to be evenly matched with the Vikings and had homefield advantage but lost. And finally, they had a big lead on the road in New Orleans, which they weren’t supposed to have, and then completely blew it. This stretch is just a microcosm of the NFL’s weird results as of late.

The Redskins need a win more than the Giants at this point. While Washington is far from being a playoff contender, there is still an outside chance that they could keep pace if they get on a hot streak. The chances are very, VERY slim, but they exist. For the Giants, they don’t.

Factor that in with the fact that the Redskins have a significant edge on the defensive side of the ball, and this does look like a win for the Skins. It’s also important to note that this game is in Washington, so the fans there will be ready to support their team against a divisional rivalry.

Next: Redskins should try to claim RB Andre Ellington

So, the Redskins will improve to 5-6 this week and get one game closer to reaching .500. They will certainly try their best to give their fans something to be thankful for at home.

Score Prediction: Redskins 27, Giants 10
