1. Be prepared for anything at quarterback

Coming into this week, it was unknown who might be the quarterback for the Vikings. Many assumed that Case Keenum would get the nod. He had held down the fort in wake of the injuries to Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater. With Bridgewater just returning from injury recently, it was expected that the team might give him more time before inserting him into the lineup.

However, there is a chance that Bridgewater could see action today. Charles Davis said on NFL Game Day that he wouldn’t be surprised to see Bridgewater in action. He apparently is close to ready for in game action. While Keenum may start the game, the Vikings could look to get Bridgewater some snaps in order to get him ready to start in the future.

Because of this, the Redskins defense needs to be prepared for anything. They have likely reviewed a lot of tape on Keenum, but given that Bridgewater hasn’t seen action since 2015, it would be harder to prepare for him. Greg Manusky needs to be able to may adjustments on the fly in order to help the Redskins defense slow down the Vikings quarterback.
