1. Expose the Raiders weak secondary

There is only one way for the Washington Redskins to actually have a chance at emerging victorious against the Raiders on Sunday night. They have to make sure they find the weak spots in the Oakland secondary and have a huge day in the passing game.

Kirk Cousins has not played well for the Redskins to start the season. Through six weeks of regular season and preseason action, he has not been good. That much is known. He has to step up for the Redskins to have any chance of beating the Raiders, as they will look to go toe-to-toe in the passing game.

Cousins is going to have to find an advantage in the passing game, and that could come via Terrelle Pryor. The newest Redskins wide-out has had a rocky start to the year, but his 6-foot-6 frame is something that the Raiders will have difficulty dealing with. Former Redskin David Amerson will likely see a brunt of the action against him, and Pryor will be able to outjump him for passes. If Pryor can win jump balls and find space, that will allow Cousins to get in rhythm early and keep pace with the Raiders.

This is just one way for the Redskins to exploit the Raiders secondary, but the Redskins definitely have the advantage here. It would be nice to see Pryor have success given that he used to be the quarterback for the Raiders. Seeing him succeed as a receiver would certainly be an interesting story.
