What Is The Right Move?

Though it will be hard for the Redskins to do, they may have to just let these two players walk. Jackson is already virtually out the door, while it seems like they are not going to retain Garcon either. Of the two, Garcon should definitely be the guy that they try to keep. He projects to be a better complement with Doctson and Crowder.

Also helping Garcon’s case is that his skill set should not erode with age. The minute that Jackson starts to lose some of his speed, his overall skill set will decline. Since Garcon’s game is based more off of physicality and route running, he will be able to have more success down the road.

Still, as of right now it does not look like either receiver is coming back. That may be the right move, given the hefty salaries that they are commanding. With free agency just a few days away, it will be interesting to see what happens with each receiver and where they end up signing.
