Where in the world is  Redskins GM Scot McCloughan? His wife knows.

I think Jessica McCloughan has heard so many rumors about her husband being MIA this week she felt the need to address the situation herself:

ESPN’s John Keim reported Thursday McCloughan’s return to the team is uncertain due to handling family issues. He experienced a death in his family, which has been widely reported, but many are speculating different theories, citing problems in the front office. No one obviously believed he was out dealing with the loss of a family member, so his wife stepped up to kill the noise. It’s a shame that people don’t understand the grieving process, and it took his wife to come out and explain that he wasn’t “sent home”. She was right do clarify the difference, though the organization should have done more to tend to this rumor.  Everyone grieves different, and family always comes first.
