The 49ers have a problem at quarterback. Colin Kaepernick fits what Chip Kelly wants to do on offense. However, Kaepernick wants to be traded and the Eagles are actively shopping him. Blaine Gabbert may or may not be a fit for new head coach Chip Kelly’s offense.
There are rumors that the 49ers are interested in signing Robert Griffin III. However, with the top quarterbacks off the board, the 49ers must address another need. Offensive line is a huge need for them. This an area where they lack depth and talent.

Notre Dame’s Ronnie Stanley is one of the top offensive tackles in the draft. The 49ers already a left tackle in Joe Staley but Stanley could give them a nice bookend to put on the other side of him at right tackle. This move will at least help protect what ever quarterback the 49ers have taking the snaps in 2016.
.
