Redskins Biggest Team Needs – Pre NFL Free Agency
1. Defensive Line
The Redskins must find a way to add more youth on the D-line. The majority of their top players on the unit are either approaching or over 30 years of age. So there’s a priority to bring in some younger players.
They also have a need at nose tackle as it appears as though Terrance Knighton will not return in 2016. Also, veteran defensive end Jason Hatcher is mulling retirement and he is also in danger of being released as he carries a high Number.
Last year’s big free-agent signing Stephen Paea did not live up to expectations. However the Redskins still have Chris Baker who had a breakout season in 2015. However, they could use an impact player up front to go along with him.
That impact player should come with the Redskins first round draft pick. This is arguably the deepest draft for defensive tackles in recent memory. So the Redskins should end up with a very talented player at pick 21.

I expect the Redskins to take more than one defensive lineman in the draft as well. This is the biggest need and the Redskins can’t afford to take chances addressing it.
