Laremy Tunsil. 5. player. 52.
At this point in time, there’s little reason to believe that Luke Joeckel is anything more than a bust. He was drafted to be the Jaguars’ franchise left tackle, and he’s been far from that through three seasons. Although he’s been a solid contributor in the run game, his horrid pass blocking and inability to protect Blake Bortles’ blindside warrant replacement.

That’s why this pick is a no-brainer for the Jaguars. Not only would they be getting one of the top talents of the 2016 draft class, but they’d be getting the class’ top offensive linemen and a sure-fire franchise left tackle. Tunsil is considered by many as one of the top options for the Titans at No. 1, so it’s pretty easy to understand why him falling to No. 5 would be a huge steal for Jacksonville.

Especially considering right tackle Jeremy Pernell wasn’t much better than Joeckel this past season, Tunsil would be an excellent fit. He fills a serious need at a position that could make or break the future of the Jaguars’ most prized possession. Tunsil has a very bright future in the NFL, and Jacksonville seems like a solid place for him to realize that outstanding potential.
. Offensive Tackle. Ole Miss
