<p>At this point, taking a quarterback is a no-brainer for the Browns. Josh McCown wasn’t the quality starter they were hoping for last season, and Johnny Manziel is an absolute train wreck. Adding a starting-caliber gunslinger to the roster should be a top priority as we venture into the 2016 offseason, and they should have their pick of the litter at No. 2 overall.</p> <p>While there’s been a lot of hype surrounding Carson Wentz lately, I still have to lean towards Goff as the class’ best arm. He’s got the strength to sling the pigskin all over the field, excellent football IQ and a sky-high ceiling. While his accuracy and overall mechanics still need some work, watching film of the Cal quarterback makes it easy to understand why NFL scouts are so high on Goff.</p> <p>The Browns need to stop messing around with immature party boys and aging journeymen. It’s time for them to invest in the team’s future, and drafting a young gunslinger like Goff would be a great step in that direction. Although there’s always some bust potential with Top 5 quarterbacks, the future looks very bright when it comes to the former Cal Bear.</p>. Quarterback. Cal. Jared Goff. 2. player. 53
