NFL Draft 2016
Oct 10, 2015; University Park, PA, USA; Penn State Nittany Lions defensive tackle Austin Johnson (99) during the third quarter against the Indiana Hoosiers at Beaver Stadium. Penn State defeated Indiana 29-7. Mandatory Credit: Matthew O /

26.  Austin Johnson, DT – Penn State: (6-4, 323) Projected Round – 2nd. The Redskins run defense is in need of an upgrade.  One of the best way to help improve against the run is to add more talent to the defensive line and Austin Johnson has the size and talent help give the Redskins another option at nose tackle and defensive end.  LW # 25

25.  Cody Whitehair, OG – Kansas State: (6-4, 300) Projected Round – 2nd. Cody Whitehair is one of the most versatile offensive linemen in the draft.  He could play guard, tackle and yes perhaps center too.  The Redskins will be looking at him for the latter as center is one of their major needs on the offensive line.  LW # 24
