Rutgers (North Team) – (6-1, 215) Projected Round – 3rd– Jersey # 84

There are some good wide receivers in the 2nd to 3rd round range and if the Redskins choose to use their first round pick on another position there could be some nice options at receiver on the second day.

Leonte Caroo might be one of those options.  He has similar size to Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon and similar game too.  He doesn’t have great size but plays bigger than he really is.  He’s very strong and has excellent run after catch skills.

Caroo has some off the field issues as he was suspended for two games after being arrested and charged with simple assault.  However, the charges were later dismissed.  But Caroo will need to prove to NFL decision makers that he’s got things together off the field just as much as on it.
