Oklahoma (South Team) -(5-10, 191) Projected Round– 2nd–Jersey #3

So the Senior Bowl will feature some of the top wide receivers in the draft, starting with Oklahoma’s Sterling Shepard.  Shepherd is one of the most exciting play makers in the draft.  In 2015 he had 86 receptions for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season.

Shepard is shifty and extremely quick.  He can play inside in the slot and outside as well.  He has good but not great speed but he can still beat defenders deep.  He reminds me a little of Steve Smith Sr. just not quite as fast.

If the Redskins release DeSean Jackson then Sterling Shepard is one of the receiver the Redskins will look at to try to replace him.  He doesn’t have the world class speed that Jackson does but Shepard can help an offense in a variety of other ways.
