4.  Brandon Allen, QB

Arkansas (South Team) -(6-2, 210) Projected Round– 6th–Jersey #10

This quarterback more so than the others reminds me of Redskins starter Kirk Cousins.  He has a similar build and similar throwing motion.  Brandon Allen is a quarterback I think the Redskins are going to be taking a hard look at during the Senior Bowl.

Right now he falls in around that 5th-6th round area, a place that I think the Redskins might look to take a quarterback.  Allen even played some in a pro-style type of offense at Arkansas, so that will help him as he transitions to the NFL.

Even if the Redskins re-sign Colt McCoy they could still use a developmental prospect to bring along and become the backup at some point later down the road.  Brandon Allen could be that player.
