Grading the Washington Redskins’ 2015 Rookie Class

Round 2 (38): OLB Preston Smith

Grade: A

Smith got his rookie season off to a slow start, but caught fire in the second half and stayed hot through the finish line. Before the season was over, he had notched eight sacks and showed impressive confidence and comfort on the edge. While Smith obviously needs more time to develop before we start talking about Pro Bowls or anything, the future looks bright for the Redskins’ young edge rusher.
