6. Redskins need a home field advantage
Even the Redskins do all of things above on this list they still need something else to happen to improve their chances to win. They need the home crowd at FedEx Field to turn out in force and create a hostile environment for the Eagles.
Philadelphia Eagles fans travel well and are among the most organized fan bases in the NFL. Washington D.C. isn’t very far from Philly, so it won’t take much for thousands of Eagles fans to flock to FedEx Field.
Hopefully because it’s an NFC East game against the hated Eagles, Redskins fans will pack the stadium because if they don’t then it could easily become a game where the environment is very favorable to the Eagles, much like some said it was for the Dolphins is week one.
Of course the Redskins need to play well and give fans a reason fill the stadium but I don’t think is an accident that The Redskins have played much better at home this season than they did on the road last week against the Giants.
A raucous environment at home will help improve the Redskins chances at winning this one.
