The Redskins don’t have much quality depth at outside linebacker.  They have Ryan Kerrigan, who had a break through season with the  13.5 sacks, and Trent Murphy had a solid rookie campaign, and Brian Orakpo has signed with the Titans.

So the Redskins will need to draft more talent and depth behind Kerrigan and Murphy.  There are some good edge rushers at the top of the draft for the Redskins to choose from if they so desire.  They might have Clemson’s Vic Beasley or Florida’s Dante Fowler Jr. on the board at pick five.

So the Redskins could go that route to add depth to the team.  Because at this point an injury to Kerrigan where he’s out for an extended amount of time could be disastrous to the Redskins.  So they must certainly add more depth at outside linebacker early in the draft.  LW # 3
