Kedric Golston, NT
Kedric Golston bulked up before the 2014 season to be able to log minutes at NT. After the injuries to Nield and Cofield, Golston became the primary reserve at NT. Golston also played DE.
Golston doesn’t show much pass rush effectiveness anymore
Golston is 31 and has been a reserve for most of his career. The Redskins could save over $1 million by cutting Golston but his salary is only $1 million so I think he will be brought back because of his versatility and longevity.
Golston scored a 0.64 rating versus the Eagles and a 0.93 rating against Dallas. His run defense was a combined 0.85 rating for the final 2 games. Golston doesn’t show much pass rush effectiveness anymore outside of a bull rush.
