2015 NFL Scouting Combine: 2/17/15 – 2/23/15 – NFL Network
Linebackers – Work out on 2/22/15
3. Dante Fowler Jr., OLB – Florida (6-3, 260) Projected Round – Top 15. Dante Fowler Jr. Already has good size and strength for an edge rusher at 260. Is comparable to the Redskins’ Brian Orakpo in both size and athleticism. If the Redskins trade down in the first round, Fowler is one of the player’s they will be looking at in the first round.
What to Watch for? 3 cone drill and shuttle drill. A good time in the cone drill will show that Fowler won’t be a liability when dropping into coverage and that will be important as NFL outside linebackers are needed to drop from time to time as well as rush the passer.
