2015 NFL Scouting Combine:   2/17/15 – 2/23/15 – NFL Network

Linebackers – Work out on 2/22/15

2.  Shane Ray, OLB – Missouri – (6-3, 245) Projected Round – Top 10.  Shane Ray is known as one of the most explosive pass rushers in college football with one of the quickest first steps off the line of scrimmage.  Ray has steadily moved up draft boards and a good performance at the combine can move him up even further.

What to Watch for?  Bench press and his 40-yard dash.  Shane Ray is an explosive athlete and he’s known for having great speed at the outside linebacker position.  If Ray runs his 40-yard dash in the 4.5 range, he could all but cement himself as a top five draft pick.  Also, many will want to see how many reps he can put up in the bench press.
