East-West Shrine game: 1/17/15 – 4:00 pm – NFL Network

Players to Watch – Receivers and backs

3.  Austin Hill, WR – Arizona (West) – (6-3, 215) Proj. Round – 4th-5th. –Jersey # 29

4.  Blake Bell, TE – Oklahoma (West) – (6-6, 260) Proj. Round – 7th. – Jersey # 80

5.  Jordan Taylor, WR – Rice (West) – (6-5, 210) Proj. Round – 7th. – Jersey # 12

6.  Terrence Magee, RB – LSU (East) – (5-9, 213) Proj. Round – 7th. – Jersey # 15

The Redskins aren’t really in the market for a wide receiver, expect maybe one with size, and Arizona’s Austin Hill brings that to the table, as does Rice’s Jordan Taylor.  If the Redskins make a few trades they might have an extra pick to a wide receiver, as it’s not really a huge need.

However, the Redskins do need to add a tight end with size and blocking skills.  They have a good receiving tight end in Jordan Reed, but he and Niles Paul are not very good blockers, and this hurts the Redskins running game and passing protection.  Oklahoma’s Blake Bell played quarterback most of his career before switching to tight end as a senior.

He has great size and could develop into something with more time at the position.  Running back Terrence Magee spent most of his career as a backup at LSU, but is a good all purpose type of running back.
