2. Jim Tomsula, defensive line coach – San Francisco 49ers – Jim Tomsula is currently the defensive line coach for the San Francisco 49ers, but that may be changing now that Jim Harbaugh is no longer the head coach there.  It’s been speculated that the 49ers may be targeting Tomsula to replace Harbaugh, but that may not happen.

The 49ers run a 3-4 defense and have had once of the better defenses in the NFL during the time that Tomsula has been on the staff.  He has yet to be a coordinator in the NFL, but I don’t see that as a hindrance.  If the 49ers are looking at him as a head coaching candidate, the defensive coordinator for the Redskins is certainly an option.
