Other Defensive Players to Watch
7. Doran Grant, CB – Ohio State – (5-11, 193) Projected Round – 3rd. – Jersey # 12
8. Xzavier Dickson, OLB – Alabama – (6-3, 268) Projected Round – 6th-7th. – Jersey # 47
The Redskins need to continue to add depth at the cornerback position. They have good young talent, but there’s not much behind Bashaud Breeland and David Amerson. Ohio State’s Doran Grant has good size and fits the mold of what the Redskins have been drafting at the position.
Alabama’s Xzavier Dickson could help the Redskins add depth at the outside linebacker spot. They are very thin at that position, especially if they don’t re-sign Brian Orakpo. Which it appears as though they won’t Dickson could give them a prospect to work with behind Ryan Kerrigan and Trent Murphy.
