Keep Josh McCown Winless

The Buccaneers have only won one game this season, and Mike Glennon was the quarterback when that took place in Week 4 against Pittsburgh. But, Glennon hasn’t been giving Lovie Smith the consistency that he prefers to see at the position.

So Smith has re-named Josh McCown as the starting quarterback for Tampa Bay. He has thrown four touchdown passes and six interceptions in four games, and has yet to get a win himself.

He was named the starter to begin the season, and started out 0-3 before Glennon eventually took his spot. But McCown definitely proved the type of impact he can have on a game last season with the Chicago Bears.

The Redskins were actually the ones to knock Bears quarterback Jay Cutler out of the game last year, which caused McCown to replace him. Washington was able to win that game, but McCown showed a lot of fight and almost helped the Bears make a comeback.

Washington has to come out with a winning mindset, and the defense has to answer the bell. They allowed Bridgewater to have a good day last week, they can’t allow the same from McCown.
