6. AFC East

Average Power Ranking:  20.25

Collective Record:  9-10

  1. New England Patriots (3-2) – The Patriots defeated the Bengals at home 43-17.
  2. Buffalo Bills (3-2) – The Bills defeated the Detroit Lions on the road 17-14.
  3. Miami Dolphins (2-2) – The Dolphins had a bye in week 5.
  4. New York Jets (1-4) – The Jets were beaten on the road by the Chargers 31-0.

The AFC East has been up and down but the Patriots still seem to be the team to beat.  The Bills have made a change at quarterback starting Kyle Orton and it got them a road win over the Lions.  The Dolphins still have potential if they can get their passing game going and the Jets appear to be a team in turmoil.
