NFL Picks and Predictions – Week 2

Lions vs. Panthers

The Lions offense wit Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson was very impressive in week 1 against the New York Giants.  But the Giants seem to be a team in disarray and I think this added to the Lions win.  But the Carolina Panthers don’t seem to have such problems and their defense is one of the league’s best.

Also Panthers quarterback Cam Newton will return to the starting lineup this week and will be a challenge for the Lions defense.  The Lions have too much talent to shut them down completely so they’ll score but the Panthers are just the better team.
