Keenan Robinson

inside linebacker,

Another new starter on defense this season will be Keenan Robinson at inside linebacker next to Perry Riley.  London Fletcher has retired and he left a whole in the defense for the Redskins to fill.  And they think they have their man in Robinson who has impressed in his first few seasons with his size and athleticism, but hasn’t been able to stay healthy.

But now he gets the chance to live up to that potential and he should get some extended playing time against the Patriots considering he has played much in his career.  Watch for how Robinson plays against the run.  He’s been good in pass coverage but he still has something to prove as a run stopper.  And as an inside linebacker how will the defense respond to his leadership?
