Countdown to Camp – Redskins position group Rankings

7.  Defensive line – Free agent Jason Hatcher was signed by the Redskins in the offseason, to help improve their pass rush, as he had 11 sacks last season for the Cowboys.  Barry Cofield returns as the top option at nose tackle and much will be expected from defensive end Chris Baker after he played well down the stretch last season.  There is a lot of depth on the D-line, but not a lot of playmakers.  Stephen Bowen and  Jarvis Jenkins will compete for spots as well.
