The Chiefs had one of the worst drafts of 2014.  They needed a wide receiver, but didn’t draft one at all.  They got a good pass rusher in Dee Ford in the first round, but they didn’t have a huge need their.  CB Phillip Gaines in the third and RB DeAnthony Thomas in the fourth were decent picks, as was QB Aaron Murray in the fifth, but for the most part this draft was underwhelming for the Chiefs.

Grade:  D+
