20.  Donte Whitner, S – San Francisco 49ers: (5-10, 208) Age: 28 – Tag Number – $8,021,000.  Likelihood of being Tagged – Not Likely.  The Redskins need another starter at safety and Whitner has been a solid starter for the 49ers.  LW # unranked   

19.  Lamarr Houston, DE – Oakland Raiders:  (6-3, 300) Age: 28 – Tag Number – $12,475,000.  Likelihood of being Tagged – Not Likely.  Houston is a playmaker at 3-4 defensive end.  The Redskins need more sacks and pass rush generated from that position.  LW # 20

18.  Arthur Jones, DE – Baltimore Ravens: (6-3, 315) Age: 27 – Tag Number – $10,895,000.  Likelihood of being Tagged – Not Likely.  The Redskins need to get more production from defensive end, and Jones has emerged as one of the top 3-4 ends in the NFL.  LW # 15

17.  Walter Thurmond, CB – Seattle Seahawks: (5-11, 190) Age: 26 – Tag Number – $11,256,000.  Likelihood of being Tagged – Not Likely.  Thurmond has been a part-time starter for the Seahawks when Brandon Browner has been out of the lineup, and has excelled in their nickel coverage.  The signing of DeAngelo Hall may hurt the chances of other corners signing with the Skins.  LW # 8     NFL Free Agency
