8.  Walter Thurmond, CB – Seattle Seahawks: (5-11, 190) Age: 26 – Tag Number – $11,256,000.  Likelihood of being Tagged – Not Likely.  Thurmond has been a part-time starter for the Seahawks when Brandon Browner has been out of the lineup, and has excelled in their nickel coverage.  He could easily become a starter for the Redskins at corner if they could sign him.  LW # 8     NFL Free Agency

7.  Perry Riley, ILB – Washington Redskins: (6-2, 255) Age: 25 – Tag Number – $10,895,000.  Likelihood of being Tagged – Not Likely.  The Redskins need to re-sign Riley to keep from losing both of their starting inside line backers.  LW # unranked

6.  Jairus Byrd, S – Buffalo Bills: (5-10, 203) Age: 27 – Tag Number – $8,021,000.  Likelihood of being Tagged – Not Likely.  The Redskins need help at safety, and Byrd should be able to step right into the starting lineup and have an impact.  LW # 7

5.  Greg Hardy, DE – Carolina Panthers:  (6-4, 290) Age: 25 – Tag Number – $12,475,000.  Likelihood of being Tagged – Likely.  Hardy will be at the top of a lot of teams free agent boards, but more than likely will be franchised by the Panthers.  However, if he isn’t the Redskins should make a run at him.  “The Kraken” would instantly become the best defensive player on the team.  LW # 3
