Jahan Dotson

You wouldn’t know Dotson is partaking in his first training camp as an NFL player. That can be attributed to the fact that he absolutely stole the show during OTAs and minicamp so his confidence is already in a good spot.

Having said that, the No. 16 overall pick has plenty to learn and he’s eager to soak up knowledge from McLaurin. Though the two practiced together in California before camp, Wednesday marked their first official practice as teammates.

"“Terry, meeting him for the first time, a great dude, humble dude,” Dotson said. “You can tell just talking to Terry why people like him so much. He’s so genuine, trying to help me out in any way he could. Super thankful to have him back here and just learn from him every day.” “He has a lot of knowledge. He’s one of the best receivers in the game. Just learning everything possible from him and being a sponge.” “He’ll be very hands-on, he’ll be out here trying to teach me how to run something. If I have a question, he’s going to answer it as best as possible. It’s really cool to have him here. He’s really easy to talk to and someone I can learn from a lot.”"

Dotson is going to absolutely reap the benefits of being McLaurin’s teammate. Already a polished receiver, it’s scary to think how much more refined Dotson will be just by the end of camp — let alone two or three years down the road — as he absorbs knowledge from one of the game’s best receivers.
