2. Away at Texans

The Houston Texans finished 4-13 this campaign. While they fought for head coach David Culley, who surprisingly got fired at season’s end, they struggled mightily against the upper-echelon teams in the league.

In fact, Houston made a habit out of losing by double digits. Of their 13 losses, nine were of the double-digit variety, eight were by 15 or more points and seven came in front of their home “crowd” at NRG Stadium.

Though Washington doesn’t belong in the upper echelon category, it goes without saying they should win this matchup. Still trying to move past Bill O’Brien’s reign of terror, the Texans have one of the worst rosters in the league in terms of talent and they have very little draft capital to expedite their rebuild.

Furthermore, the only household names on Houston’s roster going into next season are Deshaun Watson (if you even count him), Brandin Cooks, who should be floated in trade talks this offseason, and left tackle Laremy Tunsil.

While winning on the road in the NFL is never easy and Davis Mills overachieved as a rookie third-rounder, the Texans simply don’t have the horses. As long as they come ready to play, Washington should win this game going away.
