Round 3

Tylan Wallace, Wide Receiver, Oklahoma State (6-0, 190)

Tylan Wallace is an excellent receiver, but he comes with some limitations.  To be honest, that is not a concern if he is on the Washington Football Team roster this fall.  If you’re looking for a quick, short and intermediate route receiver, then he is a perfect selection in this round.

Wallace is solid on slants, hook routes, and wide receiver screens.  He is not a speedster who will run the fly patterns and with Terry McLaurin around, Wallace would actually be a perfect complementary receiver in Scott Turner’s offense.

Spencer Brown, Offensive Tackle, Northern Iowa (6-9, 320)

This player is huge!  Taller than all of Northern Iowa’s basketball team combined!  Well, that is an exaggeration, but Brown is certainly super-sized.  He is also a talented tackle who projects to the right side.  He could be ready to start within a year.

Brown plays with a mean and nasty attitude.  He is smart and rarely makes mistakes.  Superb in the rushing offense and provides solid protection in the passing game.

Other Possible Third Round Targets:

  • Paulson Adebo, Cornerback, Stanford
  • Jabril Cox, Linebacker, LSU
  • Chazz Surratt, Linebacker, North Carolina
  • Andre Cisco, Free Safety, Syracuse
  • Baron Browning, Linebacker, Ohio State
  • Richie Grant, Free Safety, Central Florida
  • Hunter Long, Tight End, Boston College
