No. 3 – Limit mistakes

The Washington Football Team is the favorite in Sunday’s game. How do you allow an upset to happen from a team with nothing to play for? You make mistakes and continually shoot yourself in the foot.

Even in a game where the Washington Football Team was the underdog against Seattle, two turnovers, a missed extra point, and a 50-yard touchdown run were the difference in the game. Take that as a blueprint for how to beat the Panthers. Limit mistakes.

Whether the quarterback is Alex Smith or Dwayne Haskins, the interceptions must be limited. The running backs need to avoid fumbles. The defense cannot let D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, or Curtis Samuel leak out for huge plays.

And of course, Dustin Hopkins needs to make his kicks. The Washington Football Team simply needs to avoid the crucial mistakes. They play a style of play that can’t afford many mistakes to begin with.

Avoid mistakes and just play clean football. Let the defensive talent take over like they’ve shown the ability to do. Do not do too much or force it. Mistake-free football; that is the goal.
