3. Find the No. 2 option at WR

Washington has found a No. 1 option at wide receiver in Terry McLaurin. However, there is a problem that has become apparent. Terry McLaurin needs help. It became even more obvious when Antonio Gibson got hurt against the Steelers.

J.D. McKissic and Logan Thomas have been pleasant surprises this year. Cam Sims has stepped up at times as well. However, other than McLaurin, Antonio Gibson was the only player on the Washington Football Team offense that could truly be a game-breaker.

Once Gibson went down with an injury, opposing defenses had one goal: Make someone other than Terry McLaurin beat us. They double McLaurin on almost every play. It has not helped that McLaurin has been dealing with a nagging ankle injury, but as you may expect, Terry McLaurin’s production has taken a dip in the last few weeks.

McLaurin needs help, it is that simple. If not, it will continue to make the Washington Football Team offense one-dimensional.

There are plenty of options in free agency this year. Star receivers Allen Robinson and Kenny Golladay are available. Other quality options like JuJu Smith-Schuster, T.Y. Hilton, and Curtis Samuel could be available as well.

If you go slightly further down there are other options like Will Fuller and Corey Davis who can fill the void in a pinch as well. The free-agent market will have a plethora of options and Washington has money to spend.

The draft also has an array of options. There are simply too many quality ones to name, but Washington could find a really good receiver in the first two rounds this year if they want one there.

So, that’s the goal. Get Terry McLaurin some help. There will be options. Let’s get it done.
